I have completed Design Task (A) Blog Entry #2.1 to #2.10
I could have elaborated in my responses to the questions given. This would
help my work be clearer. I feel independent, motivated, and have a generally
positive attitude. I would like to participate more in class. I will try to interact
and ask for help when I need it. The score that I would give myself is a 5 or 6
because I feel I am understanding the blogging process better than the first time.

Blog #2.10 - Target Consumers (B)
Target consumer #1 is intended for Catholics. Catholics celebrate the season of Lent. Lent is about giuving up something that is very near and dear to your heart. It is the 40 day period before the Easter season. Lent s a time for prayer and preparation to celebrate Easter. Catholics are the the only ones who celebrate Lent but are most closely associated with this holiday.
Target consumer #2 is Parochial Schools. These schools teach the fundamentals of the catholic religion and principals of Lent. The Parochial schools are always looking to raise funds for their schools and churches. The cards are easy and portable product used to raise money and spread the information about Lent. This can help to bring in new church members to the parish and new students to the Parochial Schools.
Target consumer #3 is Card Shops. Since cards are their specialty they have the most expertise in selling these types of cards. They would know how to market and set prices. Card Shops sell all types of cards for different holidays, occassions and religions. You will get the greatest number of people in the shortest amount of time to buy this product. Marketing time is essential due to the shortness of the Lent holiday (40 days).

Blog Entry # 1.6 - Design Brief (A)
I am going to design and make a poster sketch which talks about and desribes 5 different words. The words are "knowledgeable", "thinkers", "caring", "risk-takers", and "balanced". I believe that the simpler a poster is designed the more likely the message will be heard. The poster will be made of Recycled paper only a few colors will be used to make the poster. Too many colors will be distracting and the message won't be that cleared.
The poster will be standard size, the poster is designed to convey the characteristics of each word. I want to express the characteristics of each word. For example, a picture of a mother holding her child, a young boy helping and older person across the street would illustrate the definition of caring.

Blog Entry # 1.5 - Areas of Interaction (A)
The posters are being designed and created to illustrate a single concept. Each word is a different concept. The poster is advertising what the words mean. For example knowledgable is related to study habits which is an apporch to learning and ex-changing ideas and studying. Posters are a form of communicating ideas and information. Instead of preaching, each poster will illustrate the ideas.
Blog entry # 1.4- Design Task A
This project is about illustrating different ideas. Each poster illustrates one concept. We are working
in pairs. We have to create and design a poster which illustates each word that is on our list. The list consist of 10 words which is divided equally between my partner and I. My words are "knowledgeable", "Thinkers", "Caring", "Risk-Takers", and "Balanced".

Rashid O'Bryan Blog Entry #1.1 through 1.3 for Poster Analysis
Its a drop of water pictured in slow motion. The point of the picture is Attitude. The small drop of water makes a large ripple. Your attitude can cause a ripple effect in any group large or small.
The black background color is good for the picture because it makes the blue from the main picture really stand out. I feel the use of Capitol letters in large Fonts in the word attitude is good. The second and third line should have been in a larger font as well. The colors were a good choice.
I feel the words on the poster are well positioned because they are right under the image and the words blended in.
This student is helping his fellow classmate off the floor.
This picture shows how we can lend a hand and care about each other. The colors of the background is fine but the color of the font should be a different color. I think it should be a bright yellow or orange.
The words fit the poster. It explains how some people care. I think that the words are arranged fine.
The font size used on the word "Caring" should have been bigger and It should have been in capital letters.
I dont think that the picture they used goes well with the statement below it.
This picture does not show any type of curiosity in my opinion. In the statement below the picture
it says the word independence. If the girl was independent you wouldnt see the teacher their.
The colors weren't a good selection either. They used a dark pink with black which you can hardly see. What I would have done was make the color of the statement white because when you mix white and black together, white pops out of the black.
The font should have been bigger because you can barely see the words.
